Stories like this give the trucking industry a bad name. But, if you look deeper into stories like this, you will often find that the truck driver is not actually a commercial truck driver at all. They are often someone who simply knows how to drive a truck and uses that knowledge to commit crimes. They do no represent the trucking industry at all. There is also the scenario in which the driver picks up a tanker that reads "gasoline" on the invoice but the driver knows nothing about what's actually in the load. Yes, there are some bad apples in trucking, but many of the actors in these cases are career drug runners and not career drivers. – Eric
