The headline reads “Spicy foods sending children to emergency room, experts claim”. The headline SHOULD read “Bad parenting sending children to emergency room”. I am certain that not all of these spicy snacks are being eaten during school hours. Some are being eaten at home or at a time when parents should be in control of these children. One child quoted in this story is TWELVE! This is, by far, not the biggest parenting issue in America at the moment, but it certainly is one more indicator that many adults have given up and essentially do not care what their children do, eat, or say. I am far from perfect as a parent or otherwise, but can we please do a better job at raising the next generation?
