Climbers Abandon Mount Everest Expedition After Brawling With Sherpas (via ABC News)
This story is simply bizarre. I cannot imaging going through all of the planning and preparation to summit Everest, only to have to abandon the effort because of a squabble. The tension between the sherpa guides and westerners has been building for some time. Hopefully, this situation will lead to calmer, cooler heads prevailing. – Eric
