BREAKING: Court Upholds Most Provisions of HOS Rule (via Transport Topics)
We have likely seen the end of the court battles over HOS. The FMCSA comes away with a win for them, but a tremendous loss for the industry. I have often said that the HOS rule would be in the courts for a long time and it's been nearly a decade. Now, it would literally take an act of congress to change it. Lawmakers could make the rule a law, but I truly have my doubts about that ever happening. I hope I am wrong about that. Buckle up, drivers, it's going to be a long, over-regulated and less profitable ride. – Eric
